This model of pyramids resembles the Pyramids of Giza. This project was a lot of fun to make. We started by mixing white school glue and sand. We spread a layer of this over a piece of plywood.
We made sure the board was completely covered. We had to let this dry overnight before adding anything else to our board.
For each pyramid we cut out four triangles from poster board. We covered them with a beige colored, self-adhesive paper.
Then we taped the four triangles together with masking tape. Next we covered the entire pyramid with plastic shelf paper. We used the non-glide variety. We thought this made the pyramid appear more life-like.
